The Wolfpack Ninjas are on a mission to combat childhood obesity and diabetes. In the past three decades, childhood obesity rates in America have tripled, and today nearly 1 in 3 children in America are overweight or obese. The numbers are even higher in African American and Hispanic communities, where nearly 40% of the children are overweight or obese. If we do not solve this problem, one third of all children born in 2000 or later will suffer from diabetes at some point in their lives. Many others will face chronic obesity-related health problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, and asthma.

  • I’ve recently come across the Wolfpack Ninja podcast after becoming an ANW fan over the past few years. I have to tell you that it is awesome…from your interview techniques, where & how you turn conversations and customize for the respective ninja to the tips to become ninjas to the similarities that you see across all ninjas…their positive attitude, relentless optimism, support for fellow ninjas and hard work. Simply amazing! My career path is not and never will be solely focused on becoming a ninja warrior but these are lessons that can translate across all walks of life, regardless of your job/career/role in life. I really appreciate what you are doing and it has motivated me to live a more health-focused lifestyle surrounding exercise and nutrition. I’ve tried to cut out all sugars from my diet (successfully ignoring cupcakes brought in by co-workers) and stopped buying processed goods…little things that from what you have discussed on the show and on your website, should lead to a healthier lifestyle, more energy and longer living. I also want to start training like a ninja. A different approach to fitness has always kept me more motivated than going to the gym and throwing weights around. - Steve Fantham (25 years old)    

  • You all are truly inspirational. Watching the Wolfpack helped motivate me to get in shape. I’ve lost 75 pounds in less than a year on a primarily fruit and veggie based diet, with nuts, seeds, and lean protein. Was able to stop taking my blood pressure medication, and my goal is to someday run the course. - El Dude (35 years old)    
