Hey, it’s me, Ian Dory, the Wolf Pup AKA World Champion, I just wanted to tell you how I like to start my day. I am a very visual person and need to have goals and vision for my day. Each and every day I wake up I look in the mirror and say “I am ready, I am smart, I am strong, I’m better than nobody, nobody is better than me. I am ready for my day.”
I wanted to share this with you because starting the day off in a positive and productive way is extremely important. Not doing this can be the difference between a productive and fulfilling day and a day filled with procrastination and frustrations. It’s not always easy to stay positive, sometimes school, work, life start to add up. It’s important to take brakes and give a little time to yourself, be mindful of how much time you spend for yourself and work/ school. Great and amazing things happen when you work hard and put your mind to it but you need to counter balance that with giving yourself time to rest, recover, and recharge.
When you put your energy and time into something, great things are possible! The climb below is one of the hardest in Colorado and has taken not only hard work but reset reflection and patience.
