Wolfpack Ninja Championship Obstacle Course Competition for Youth Highlights Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Festival
Ft. Collins, Colo. – March 13, 2018 – Wolfpack Ninjas – a lifestyle brand focused on developing ninja obstacle racing globally – will host the Wolfpack Ninja Championship obstacle course competition for youth ages 6-16 as part of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Festival, April 6-8 at Lee Gardens on Causeway Bay.
The Wolfpack Ninja brand is led by top professional ninja-athletes committed to “making the world healthier one kid at a time” under the leadership of Wolfpack President Dr. Noah Kaufman, an emergency room doctor known as “The Ninjadoc” from his televised ninja-sport appearances. The Wolfpack promotes an active, healthy lifestyle for youth through its participatory live events as well as through the massive online and social media reach of its dozens of professional team members. The Wolfpack Ninjas also promote the professional development of ninja-sport through the Wolfpack Ninja Tour event series.
“The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, one of the world’s premier sporting events, is the ideal showcase for the new sport we are building,” Kaufman said. “Ninja-sport is for everyone, and with Hong Kong Sevens’ incredible international draw across demographic groups, bringing the Wolfpack Ninja Championship to the festival can inspire millions of kids. Once they enjoy the fun and challenge of our obstacle course, the goal is that they will strive to pursue healthy lifestyles for decades to come.”
The Wolfpack Ninja Championship contributes to the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens’ presentation of a diverse, world class experience for guests, said Sam Pinder, General Manager of the Hong Kong Sevens for the HKRU. “When we considered introducing ninja-sport as part of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens Festival, there was one partner that shared our passion for fitness and inspiring the youth to lead more active lifestyles. Wolfpack’s events in the United States in 2017 were revolutionary. We look forward to seeing the eyes of children from around the world light up at the possibilities the Wolfpack presents.”
The Wolfpack Ninja Championship will form part of a 16-day festival at Lee Gardens, which also includes activities such as an E-Sports arena, various sponsor activation booths, and the legendary Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens FanWalk.
Wolfpack Ninja Pro Team members appearing at the event include Kaufman, Wolfpack co-founder Ian Dory, the legendary Los Angeles-based duo of Travis Brewer and Nicholas “Modern Tarzan” Coolridge, and former Australian Olympic Gymnastics Team Member Olivia Vivian, “the Wonder from Down Under.” The group will perform, host, instruct and inspire the families who attend.
